And They're Off -  5/11/2013
Jon Neagle leads the charge as over 120 golfers teed off for the Annual Windsor Kiwanis Shad Derby Golf Tournament. This year's tournament was held at Gillette Ridge course in Bloomfield, CT. Despite the rain a great time was had by all. Congratulations to Jon and his committee and everyone who help make this year's tournament the best ever.


Kiwanis Welcomes New Member -  5/2/2013
The Kiwanis Club of Windsor welcomes new member Olivia Harvey to the club.  Olivia was sponsored by Jeannine Middleton and sworn in by President Mike Waltein. Olivia is a long time Windsor resident and is currently employed by the Hartford Board of Ed. She is an active board member of the Windsor Independent Living Association (WILA).


Kiwanis Inducts New Member -  4/4/2013
The Kiwanis Club of Windsor welcomed Jack D'Agata as a new member of the chapter. Jack recently left the US Army where he served as a Captain. He is currently training to be a physician assistant. Jack was sworn in by President Mike Waltein. Jack’s parents John and Margie, who are also members of the chapter, participated in the swearing in ceremony.


Give Back Night Fundraiser at Chili's -  1/23/2013
A Give Back Night fundraiser was held January 23, 2013 at Chili’s in Windsor. Chili’s donated 10% of sales brought in to the Kiwanis Club of Windsor.  We thank the management and staff of Windsor Chili's for their support.


Kiwanis Sponsor Blood Drive -  12/21/2012
The Windsor Kiwanis sponsored a blood drive at the Grace Episcopal Church, 311 Broad Street, Windsor, CT. The drive was held on Friday, December 21. Special thanks to Chairman Richard Knickerbocker and everyone who helped make the drive a success. Thirty-five donations were collected.


Kiwanis Club and Clover Street K-KIds Carol at Kimberly Hall -  12/20/2012
The Kiwanis Club and Clover Street School K-Kids held a Carol sing for the residents of Kimberly Hall.


Kiwanis Club Honors Charles Petrillo -  11/8/2012
The Kiwanis Club of Windsor honored retiring Town of Windsor Health Director Dr. Charles Petrillo. Kiwanis President Mike Waltein presented Charles with a plaque and member Bob Christensen spoke about Charles many years of service to the town in a variety of roles. Petrillo is retiring after over thirty years of service.


Kiwanis Club Provides Student Breakfast -  11/3/2012
On November 3rd the Kiwanis Club of Windsor hosted a breakfast at Windsor H.S. for students who were scheduled to take the SAT exam at the school. Windsor High Key Club members assisted the club in serving over one hundred breakfast meals.
